The "I'm About to End This Man's Whole Career" meme is a quote taken by a Youtube video that went viral on 2011, called "The Rap Battle [Parody]".

Since 2019, the screenshot of this scene, together with the quote, was used as a meme in situations in which the social status of someone is about to be destroyed.

The video from 2011, "The Rap Battle [Parody]" by YouTuber MrDeshawnRaw, also known as Supa Hot Fire, makes fun of very confrontational rap battles, and was during the years deleted, and then reuploaded by someone else.

The scene that was since then used as a meme shows Supa Hot Fire telling viewers that he will defeat the opponent and destroy his career, saying "I'm about to end this man's whole career."

Up until 2019, the meme was not particularly famous, and was used once on Instagram.

However, after it was posted on Reddit (subreddit /r/dankmemes) by Redditor MileHighMiracle, it became wildly famous on the web. On Reddit, in fact, it earned over 24,300 upvoted in a little more than 10 days.

Following, several more memes created with the same base appeared on /r/dankmemes. A couple of examples are a post by Redditor VanillaGlaceon, which appeared on the web on February, and another one by Redditor CreditCardoInfoPlss, which received almost 65,000 upvotes in just a couple of days.
